I recently received the Rob Allen Moana 1100 speargun and have really enjoyed using it so far—overall, it’s been a positive experience. The gun delivers great power and has a beautiful colour that really stands out in the water.
However, I’ve encountered a couple of issues. The safety mechanism and handle have been somewhat faulty, with the safety occasionally getting stuck and difficult to move. Additionally, there are a few random, unexplained chips on the shaft where the spear sits.
Aside from these concerns, it’s a solid piece of gear that performs well in the water.
